Why should you buy iPad Pro over a laptop as a medical student or a doctor?

Every medical student or doctor uses there laptops for:
  • Reading PDF documents and ebooks
  • Making, editing or viewing presentations
  • Taking notes
  • Watching multimedia
If any device can do that with ease, then its iPad Pro. It costs $799 and is still better value for money than Apple's $2000 laptops.

Some of the most distinguishing features of iPad Pro that separates it from other PCs, tablets and even smartphones are:

Powerful Processor: iPad Pro is faster than most of the PCs, literally. Source: The A12X Bionic chip inside the new 2018 iPad Pro outperforms even Core i7-powered laptops

Speed: It is buttery smooth to use. You can switch between apps, documents, presentations, etc pretty fast without any lag at all. It makes learning, reading comfortable.

Screen: iPad Pro has the best screen in class. It is way better than any laptops below $1500 dollars and no less than any expensive smartphone. Its 120 Hz screen with adaptive display making reading so damn perfect and easy on eyes.

Compact:  It's light enough for you to keep it in your backpack or even one big pocket of your apron. You can carry it to the library, classes, rounds, wards, conferences, etc. You can never do all those with a laptop. Light and easy to hold, this is way portable than any laptops out there. You never have to worry about losing notes. You can look over your books whenever you want.

Apple Pencil: Apple Pencil makes your life easy on so many levels. Take notes during rounds, or classes or annotate something, the pencil becomes a boon. You can highlight and annotate documents, presentations, etc using your Apple Pencil.

Software: iPad OS is smooth and stable than Windows. You get regular updates that keep it fast and secure, unlike android smartphones. About 1.6 million apps in the App Store will get you every app that you can think of. From Adobe Photoshop to a dedicated Gmail app, you can get everything done from an iPad Pro. The iPad Pro is best in class for gaming as well. From PUBG to Fortnite, you can run any game smoothly on iPad Pro.

Camera: The Pro camera system on iPad Pro features a 12MP Wide camera and  a 10MP Ultra Wide camera that zooms out two times to capture a much wider field of view great to make short videos or take pictures of subjects, whiteboards, page scans, etc whenever and wherever required.

Others: There any many other features of which all cannot be enlisted here. For eg, it uses USB-C for charging which is future proof. 4 speakers with stereo sounds. And the list goes on and on.
